Festive Celebrations

Celebrate Scotland’s national day with a visit to Edinburgh’s Christmas celebrations in the city centre. Events are on from late November to early January, but there’s usually something special on to mark St Andrew’s Day. Plans have not been announced.

Street Of Light

This St Andrew’s Day and throughout the festive season, West George Street will be covered in a canopy of over 60,000 lights. This amazing light show in the sky will be synchronised with music sung and played by choirs from across Edinburgh. There will be two shows each evening. The shows are free but you must reserve a ticket to ensure entry. Visit the Street Of Light website for further information.
